چکیده
Buildings and greenhouses consume vast amounts of energy natural resources for heating ventilation. It is still unclear how the synergetic effect combining buildings' forced waste airflows could improve both systems' efficiency. This study quantified recovery potential exchanging in a rooftop greenhouse (iRTG) integrated with an office building HVAC system Mediterranean climate. Using monitored calibrated model data, results showed that iRTG can act as solar collector sink building's low-grade heat. The magnitude harvested thermal be recirculated into by was 205.2 kWh/m2y?1 limited low transmissivity (54%). exhaust air 198 at temperatures sufficient to heat cool iRTG. Compared passive ventilated configuration, integration active ventilation strategies doubled benefits. Building requirements directly determined flows benefits, which increased 63.1% when changes per hour moved from 1.59 3.16. Overall, this demonstrates functionalities coupled contribute urban circularity sustainability.

متن کاملEnergy efficiency in a building complex through seasonal storage of thermal energy in a confined aquifer
Confined aquifers are formations surrounded by impermeable layers called cap rocks and bed rocks. These aquifers are suitable for the seasonal storage of thermal energy. A confined aquifer was designed to meet the cooling and heating energy needs of a residential building complex located in Tehran, Iran. The annual cooling and heating energy needs of the buildings were estimated to be 8.7...

متن کاملQuantifying PM2.5 Emissions from China’s Building Sector and Co-benefits of Energy Efficiency
In recent years, China has experienced severe air pollution with adverse health consequences, as exemplified by recent reports of extremely high PM2.5 levels in northern cities such as Beijing. PM2.5 sample measurements have identified coal burning as a significant primary pollutant source in China, especially when coal is used as a major heating fuel in the winter. As urbanization and househol...
